Kim lost 18.2 pounds, 2.2% body fat and 13.5 inches in one of our 8 week New Year's Revolution Challenge.
“I have always worked out in some capacity, but this past year, I let myself go. I participated in the very first challenge, but I wasn’t consistent in my workouts and I certainly wasn’t following the meal plans, or eating very healthy. When they announced that they were doing another challenge starting in January 2018, I was excited to get back to eating healthy and working out to finally attain my goals. BUT, this time, I had a little extra motivation for me to attain my goals. My friend and workout partner, Jessica, had just been diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2017, and wasn’t going to be able to workout for sometime while going through surgeries and treatments. So, she was my main motivation.
Every day when I didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning or didn’t want to go to the gym after work, I would think about Jessica and it would push me (I knew she couldn’t be at the gym, so I needed to work out for her too). The trainers knew my goals and my motivation, and they would push me each and every day. They would tell me that I could lift heavier, I could run faster, or that I could do just one more rep. The meal plans were built to help you lose weight at a healthy pace and the workouts were always challenging. I am extremely grateful for the trainers and staff for helping me reach my goals.”
